How it works
- Add PDFs and choose regex presets (emails, phones, IDs, IBAN, IPs, tokens, custom terms).
- Pick a mode: Local (client-side, max 10 files) or Server (PHP/GS, max 100 files / 1 GB).
- Local: redacts in your browser and downloads a ZIP. Server: uploads sequentially, burns masks, and returns per-file downloads plus a final ZIP.
Processing details, limits, and tips
- Local: best for small/medium files; capped at 10 to avoid browser memory issues.
- Server: up to 100 files or 1 GB total; uploads one-by-one with per-file progress and individual downloads.
- Patterns covered: emails, phone numbers, SSN-like IDs, IP addresses, IBAN, long IDs (MRN-style), tokens/keys, plus custom terms you add.
- Outputs append "_redacted" to filenames; final ZIP bundles all processed files.
Security and privacy
All processing is local - files never leave your browser. Close the page to clear any in-memory data.
