Frequently asked questions
What makes a good watermark?
A semi-transparent watermark (30 to 50% opacity) near a corner protects your photo without distracting from it. For stronger protection, tile it across the image so it cannot simply be cropped out.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose "Logo" and add your logo image. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Will the watermark look the same on every photo?
Yes. Its size is set as a percentage of each image, so it keeps the same proportions on photos of different sizes.
Can I watermark a PDF?
Yes, use our Watermark PDF tool for PDF documents.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Watermarking happens in your browser and your images stay on your device.
