How to make a printable sudoku

  1. Pick a difficulty. Easy starts with about 38 numbers, medium with about 32 and hard with about 27.
  2. Press New puzzle until you like the one in the preview.
  3. Press Download PDF to save it, or Print to print it straight away.

The PDF holds only the puzzle sheets, with no menus and no advertisements. The answer page is a separate sheet, so you can hand out the puzzle on its own.

Does every puzzle have exactly one solution?

Yes. Numbers are only removed while the puzzle still has a single solution, which the maker checks every time.

How do I get the same puzzle again?

Each sheet shows a puzzle number. The page address keeps the number and level, so bookmarking or sharing it brings back the same puzzle.

Will it fit on Letter paper?

The layout is made for A4, and the margins leave room for US Letter too. If your printer adds a header or footer with the page address, turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The puzzle is made in your browser, and nothing about it is sent to us.
